BorderWare against AltaVista Tunnel 97
  • Investment protection
  • Confidence in the vendor
  • Summary

AltaVista provides an open, firewall independent, flexible solution as opposed to Borderware' strategy based on a proprietary architecture. The AltaVista products are very inexpensive compared to a complete firewall solution with an unlimited user license. AltaVista offers all flavors of VPNs while Borderware does not support personal tunneling for telecommuting . At last, the AltaVista Tunnel products provides a much stronger security with dynamic rekeying to change the session key every 30 minutes.
